Bathroom work means valve and drain for the tub or shower, supply and drain for the vanity, a toilet connection, and sometimes moving fixtures to a new layout — which is where the project gets meaningfully more complex.
Relocating a fixture means moving the drain, and the drain needs both a route and a fall. In a house on a raised foundation that is often manageable from below. On a slab it means breaking concrete, and knowing which you have before the design is finalised can change the whole layout economics.
The rest is sequencing. Rough-in before the walls close, trim after tile and finishes. We book those dates against your other trades rather than promising a slot we will move, and we tell you plainly what has to be complete before each of our visits.

Houston note
Slab or raised foundation is the first question worth answering on any Houston bathroom project. On a raised foundation, moving a shower drain is usually manageable from below. On a slab it means breaking concrete — and knowing that before a designer draws the layout saves real money.

Questions about this service
Can I move the shower to the other wall?
Depends on your foundation and the drain route. On a raised foundation it is often straightforward from below. On a slab it means breaking concrete for the drain and possibly the vent. Ask us before the layout is final rather than after.
How many visits do you need?
Usually two: rough-in before the walls close and trim after tile and fixtures. Sometimes a third for demolition-stage disconnection. We coordinate those with your contractor.
Can I supply my own fixtures?
Yes. Send us the models beforehand so we can confirm they match the rough-in. A fixture arriving that needs different plumbing than what is in the wall is the most common avoidable delay we see.
What if you find bad pipe behind the tile?
We stop and show you. Old galvanized supply and corroded drain lines turn up regularly in older Houston bathrooms, and while the wall is open is the cheapest moment to address it. You get the finding and a price, not a surprise.
